Of note, the music is often quite loud inside the shop, so if you're looking for a space to have a conversation over a cup of boba, this may not be the ideal venue. Also with how popular this place is, there's often a line going out the door (unless you're lucky enough to show up at an off hour). Just a couple things to keep in mind - Kung Fu Tea is located in a complex, and while there's parking it may be challenging to find a spot during busier hours (fortunately there's usually a fair amount of street parking in the area).

I always enjoy the crisp, refreshing flavor of their lychee green tea and paired with the topics, it's the perfect beverage for a warm day in San Diego. Parking looks like it can get tough during busy dining hours. They also have fun toppings like coffee and tea jelly, yogurt popping boba. My go-to drink here is their T.G.I.F which is a lychee green tea with honey boba and lychee jelly. Clean seating area and a good variety of drinks, with many creme brulee and sea salt cream options. Made with fresh lime juice, includes ice jelly, basil seeds, and fresh fruit (orange, lime, apple). Even so, I must say their drinks really do speak for themselves. With boba becoming an ever-growing national craze, I was surprised to find that Little Nap Cafe was just about the only boba shop present in the Hillcrest area.
